SLS Psychiatry is a psychiatrist-led adult outpatient practice based in Southlake, Texas. We provide thorough psychiatric evaluation and ongoing medication management for adults 18 and older, both in-person at our Southlake office and via secure telehealth for patients physically located anywhere in Texas. Initial evaluations are 60–75 minutes; follow-up visits are 20–50 minutes.
Our care model is deliberate: an accurate diagnosis comes first, then shared decision-making about treatment options. We accept UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and Aetna; Curative is in process. Self-pay is welcomed, and an itemized superbill is available on request for out-of-network reimbursement.
Adult ADHD is evaluated, not pre-diagnosed. The first visit is a full 60–75 minute psychiatric evaluation that reviews symptoms, developmental and school history, work and relationship impact, family history, and conditions that can mimic ADHD — before any treatment recommendation is made. Stimulants and other controlled substances are prescribed only when clinically appropriate after that evaluation, and outside prescriptions are not transferred sight-unseen.
SLS Psychiatry sees adults 18 and older only. We do not provide ongoing standalone therapy, intensive outpatient programs, detox, inpatient services, or emergency crisis response. Patients needing a higher level of care should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room; for a mental-health crisis, call or text 988.
